Beginning in the Spring of 2011 Special Low Interest long term financing will be available to Winslow homeowners, including multifamily housing up to (4) four units.

Low cost energy audits and home weatherization to Winslow residents

 

How the Savings Add Up:

 

·         Sustain Mid Maine will provide each homeowner a rebate of $300 towards the cost of a full home energy audit, leaving your total investment at around $200 at the market rate. All energy audits must be completed by an approved Efficiency Maine Trust Energy Advisor. http://www.efficiencymaine.com

·         Homeowners considering weatherizing their homes will receive free financial and technical counseling on all available state and federal rebate programs, low-interest loans and private financing options before any upgrades are started.

·         Then meet with our project coordinator and financial counselors  to decide on the weatherization plan that makes sense for your home. As you move forward, we’ll help you book contractors and make the optimum choices on retrofitting equipment, fill out your rebate applications, etc.

·         Following your upgrades, we can schedule your final phase energy audit, and earn your rebates of up to $300. We’ll assist you in completing any remaining paperwork towards state and federal incentives and help you
